From 11 June – 11 July Power Station of Art will exhibit The One Minutes on Tour – Shanghai | 一分钟影像世纪巡回展（上海首展）
With the exhibition, The One Minutes focuses on the perception and understanding of the moving image. One minutes are videos of exactly 60 seconds. They are a challenge for artists and filmmakers and a diverse and refreshing experience for viewers.
The exhibition will celebrate The One Minutes 15 years anniversary and will consist of three components. One component will consist of The One Minute series, 11 screens showing over 300 one minute videos. The One Minutes Portray is an interactive installation at the entrance of the exhibition where visitors can film a one minute portrait of themselves. The last component will show 15 years of history via diverse documentation such as photo’s, booklets and video’s.
The exhibition will take place on the top floor of the 41,200 sq. m building of Power Station of Art. It is the first state-owned museum on the mainland dedicated to contemporary art.
